Another quiet day at Artspace

Well, Google seems to have fixed their technical problems, so a couple of new videos have gone up.

Several times, people from AUPE have tried to claim that the picket line at our home has been peaceful - even going so far as to claim it's the most peaceful picket line ever.

Huh.

Warning; you might want to turn your speakers down.

Just the quietest picket line EVER isn't it?

To be fair, the horn honking in the first clip is someone's car alarm.

The person being blocked while someone with a bull horn read the AUPE statement at his head through the window is just another Artspace member.  He has nothing to do with the labour dispute, nothing to do with SAIL.

The second clip is the security vehicle with the replacement workers.  The back windows are covered in black plastic on the inside, with a black plastic shield between the front and back, to protect the replacement worker's identity and for their safety.  I hear it's like a coffin in there.

Quite a few of these people are actual care staff, for a change.  These are the people who claim to just want to come back to work because they care soooo much about the user members.  They're just so hurt that the user members say they don't want them back!

Honestly, I can't figure out how any of the picketing care workers could think they would be welcome back into people's HOMES, then doing things like helping them in and out of bed, taking a shower, eating a meal...

Would you feel safe with any of these women taking "care" of you?

(Hey, AUPE; that's how you use scare quotes properly.)
