Artspace (no longer!) Under Siege: Words to Ponder

Despite the numerous disclaimers already made on this blog, it appears necessary for us to add an official one as well; because there are still those who can’t seem to figure it out (or, likely, don’t want to).

So here it is.

Artspace Under Siege does not speak for and does not represent, any group, company or organization. We especially do not speak for, nor represent, Artspace Housing Co-op Inc, or SAIL (Supports for Artspace Independent Living) Inc.

We, the administrators of this blog, speak only for ourselves, while providing an outlet for Artspace members, friends, family, supporters, neighbours, colleagues, acquaintances, flora and fauna that require a platform for their own voices during this labour dispute. We are volunteer concerned members who have been witnesses since May. 7

We, the administrators of this blog, have no direct connection with the labour dispute being used as an excuse by AUPE to hold us hostage by picketing our private homes, rather than the place of employment. In fact, the primary purpose of this blog is to demonstrate that reality and expose how the actions of AUPE against our community are causing harm.

We, the administrators of this blog, seek to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, to the best of our abilities. If we discover we have made errors, we will seek to correct them. However, being mere humans, we cannot be liable for unintended or accidental errors, misinformation, flaws, typos, spelling mistakes or bad grammar. Neither can we be held responsible for people who disagree with our opinions, comments, thoughts or information, nor their feelings if they happen to read something here and get all butthurt about it.

Despite how the AUPE may want to portray us, we are not a hivemind. We are capable, we are individual, and we can, and will, even if not verbally, speak.
